Two days ago me and Chris took the plane to Portland, Oregon and Jane went to Ashville, North Carolina. During the 4 1⁄2 hour flight, the in-flight shopping magazine made up for the poor entertainment. It had everything from fake plastic rocks to massage chairs and towel warmers!

Portland is great and has way better food than Michegan. The next day we went up a very steep mountain to see a huge waterfall it is the second highest in the world! Then we went to a trout hatchery and saw some huge white sturgeons. After that we went to a dam and saw the trout (and lampray) ladder. There is and a little office, with a window next to the trout ladder, with someone in it counting all the fish that go past.
